For hikers and bicyclists, the Aska Trail System offers roughly 16.5 km of recreational paths. The public can use the trails any time of year, and they range in length from one mile to five miles. Trails climb to a height of around 3,200 feet, offering views of mountain ranges, and then they descend to Blue Ridge Lake's shoreline. The system makes use of ancient logging roads and hand-dug treadways.

Moss Creek

DAHLONEGA, GA

LEVEL: Intermediate

This trail begins at the midway point of the Jones Creek Ridge trail and is designated as 223J on the Forest Service markers. It runs across FS 28-1 as it veers to the right. It gives you the option to turn right after about two miles and connect to the northernmost portion of the Jake Mountain trail, or you may keep going along 223J and eventually re-enter FS 28-1 just south of the Black Branch Loop entry. You can use it as an out-and-back or as a connector to create a loop.

This is mostly fantastic, flowing singletrack!
